Event Description
The Kingston Baroque Consort presents “The Dragon of Wantley” on Monday 21 October, 7:30pm, at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts (390 King St W, Kingston), featuring incidental music by John Frederick Lampe, a retelling of the comic tale narrated by Matthew Davis, and original artwork by Colton Fox.
Prior to the concert, Colton Fox will host a Free “Draw Your Own Dragon” workshop, suitable for all ages, in the Isabel lobby at 6:30pm.
Attendees will also learn how to make their own "Dragon zine" that they can fill with various dragons!
This concert is made possible with support from the Kingston Arts Council and the Ballytobin Foundation.

The Kingston Baroque Consort was founded in 2021 as an orchestra devoted to historically informed practice of music from the Baroque era. Founded by Katie Legere, Jeff Hamacher, Julia McFarlane, and Michael Capon, the KBC is a collective of professional musicians drawn from the Kingston Symphony Orchestra and the wider community.
