Concert I
Our opening concert of our 16th season will feature a full performance of Mozart’s Symphony No. 40, K550, G Minor – Mozart, W.A. (1756-1792) and the premier of a new work by Daniel McConnachie, a Sinfonia Concertante for Winds. Other works featured are Celtic Suite – J. Palmer and Danzon No.2 – A. Marquez. We are especially pleased to be featuring the inaugural winner of The Kiwanis Music Festival’s Concerto Competition. Guest Soloist: Violetta Kurkurian will perform the first movement of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto #1.stra concert
