Event Description
Brighten up your day at this educational and creative workshop here at the Maritime Museum of British Columbia! Ever-present fog, shifting winds, and treacherous currents makes marine navigation challenging on British Columbia’s west coast, giving it the nickname “the Graveyard of the Pacific.” Transform a simple mason jar into your own “sea lantern” while learning how lighthouses have been instrumental in keeping mariners safe here since the 1800s.
$29.99 + GST per person (members receive 20% discount)
Price includes all supplies!
Ticket includes admission to the Maritime Museum of BC (valid for 24 hours).
