Event Description
The Victoria Record Fair, Sunday November 12th from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Fernwood Community Centre gymnasium, 1240 Gladstone Avenue.
Over 30 vendors from Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland, will be offering thousands of vinyl records, as well as CDs, cassettes and music memorabilia items! Records of all styles and genres, old and new will be on sale, including rare collectibles, low cost bargains, and everything in between. Free parking is available on the streets around the Centre. Buses #22, 10, 24 and 25 will drop you off within walking distance of the Centre.
A biannual fundraising event for local charities, this VRF will be raising money to support the Victoria Native Friendship Centre. The VNFC is a great, non-profit, Indigenous-led organization delivering over 75 programs to improve socio-economic conditions for urban Indigenous people in the Victoria area. All the money raised through rentals of vendor tables, admission donations made at the door, and the sales of donated records and CDs will be donated to the VNFC.
Admission to the VRF is a suggested $2.00 to $5.00 and kids enter for free. Donations of $20 or more can receive a tax receipt.
