CKY first came to national prominence for providing music for the MTV series and movie Jackass (that was CKY's anthem "Flesh into Gear" playing over the credits for Jackass: The Movie).
With their latest album, An Answer Can Be Found, CKY ("Camp Kill Yourself") is poised to widen its appeal beyond fans of Jackass and the group's first two records. CKY's seamless blend of hard-edged riffs, abrasive and melodic vocals and raw, untamed energy on previous records like Infiltrate-Destroy-Rebuild has been honed to the point where the new record rumbles like a tank, but without sacrificing the group's limber grooves.
Along with the growth in songwriting as well as instrumental prowess, the new record presents CKY as better, stronger and more powerful than ever, and with the song "Familiar Realm" already attracting attention across North America, this is CKY's time for the spotlight.
