Event Description
A reception and opening for France Trepanier's new work, ici, ensemble at Open Space. This event is a part of Invocations, a series of arts events programmed by The FLUX Media Gallery. Trepanier's exhibition will continue until September 22. Open Space gallery hours are noon - 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
France Trepanier is an artist, curator and arts researcher of Kanien’kéha:ka and French ancestry. She is co-chair of the Aboriginal Curatorial Collective, a national arts service organization, co-recipient of the 2012 Audain Aboriginal Curatorial Fellowship awarded by the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, and directed the Centre for New Media at the Canadian Cultural Centre in Paris.
