Event Description

Please join us February 24th as dynamic art-rock quartet Boreal Sons team up with brilliant multi-intrumentalist Julia & The Spectacles (Aidan Knight, Bucan Bucan) and Jonathan Inc to present an evening of music filled with bold instrumental arrangements, atmospheric soundscapes, and intimate vocals –all grounded by the clever and sensitive lyricism of both artists. Please bring: two ears and one heart per person.

Julia & The Spectacles are Julia Wakal, a ukulele, guitar pedals, and everything else she dreams up. And her glasses. Wakal is a former resident of South Dakota, where she devoted herself to studying the trumpet in a small college town of 25,000. Her love of film scores, mussette accordion and The Flaming Lips ultimately led her mind to roam outside the world of embouchures and marching band.
