Dione Taylor

A pastor’s daughter from Saskatchewan, Dione Taylor has parlayed a musical childhood into an auspicious musical career. A jazz vocalist strongly influenced by gospel, R&B and soul, the award-winning Taylor has already released two notable albums (I Love Being Here With You, Open Your Ears) and shared the stage with the likes of Ann Peebles and the Neville Brothers. Capable of both full-throttle soul histrionics and subtleties worthy of Sarah Vaughan or Johnny Hartman, Taylor is also a mature and thoughtful songwriter.
