Airah Page releases his third EP, 'Paper Airplanes,' available now on Bandcamp. The Victoria-based singer-songwriter weaves rich synth textures with introspective lyricism, blending catchy pop structures with psychedelic 1960s influences in this six-track journey through identity, love, and loss.
"The title track 'Paper Airplanes' unravels emotional baggage from losing a loved one," explains Page. "I ended with 'revolving through threads' - a metaphor for childhood memories that resemble spindles on spinning machines turning fibers into threads."
Since debuting in 2022, Page has gained a dedicated following through early shows at Britannia Secondary School in Vancouver, culminating in a 2024 auditorium show, then expanding to Victoria's music scene. His 2025 bill at Take Your Time Back (648 Kingsway) in Vancouver earned wider recognition, followed by a May 28th, 2026 set at The Roxy Talent Show in Victoria. With influences including Neutral Milk Hotel, The Beatles, and Elliott Smith, Page is currently working on a self-titled album slated for a late 2026 release.
